In This Week: 2 Great Muslim Women Are Representing Singapore in Their Respective Fields
It’s only Tuesday but we’ve already gotten 2 great news this week mashaAllah!
The first: Ustazah Nurul Izzah Khamsani clinched the top prize in the International Musabaqah Tilawah Al Quran competition recently and will be representing Singapore on the world stage next month.
Ustazah Nurul Izzah was the first runner-up for 8 consecutive years before winning it this year. Can you say determination??

Our second great news this week is this: Saiyidah Aisyah has become the first ever Singaporean rower to qualify for the Olympics!
I first knew about the 28-year-old in 2013 when she was featured in a now-defunct website called Kita.sg. Since then, I’ve seen her come up on my social media more often as friends of friends of friends shared about her training and efforts in the SEA Games, Asian Games etc.

Both women teach us that the success you see today comes from years of training, sacrifice and struggle.
Weekly reflection: What is the one thing you really want to achieve in this life? What are you doing every single day to get yourself closer to that goal?
May Allah bless them and grant them success in this life and the next!
