Muzlimbuzz is looking for talented, motivated interns to join our Editorial team. We are looking to propel Muzlimbuzz as a credible and fresh news source and we need you!

We are seeking someone who can articulate their thoughts well, have a passion for News and the betterment of the Muslim community.

1) Writing

The intern will write, edit, engage readers through social media, assist in site management, and conduct story research. S/he will also be involved with the news and reviews sections.

Specific duties include:

+ Pitching, researching, and writing blog entries and articles
+ Posting stories and third-party content
+ Finding and inserting links to related content within new and existing articles
+ Pitching, gathering, writing, and constructing slideshows
+ Collecting, editing, and resizing images for site publication
+ Fact-checking, conducting research
+ Participating in Muzlimbuzz’s Twitter, Facebook and other social media efforts
+ Helping to organize & run Muzlimbuzz’s events

2) Photography

The intern will take pictures, edit, engage readers through social media, assist in site management, and conduct story research. S/he will also be involved with the news and reviews sections.

Specific duties include:

+ Pitching, researching, and taking pictures for the Photo Essay section
+ Pitching, gathering, taking pictures, and constructing slideshows
+ Collecting, editing, and resizing images for site publication
+ Documenting Muzlimbuzz’s events
+ Fact-checking, conducting research
+ Participating in Muzlimbuzz’s Twitter, Facebook and other social media efforts
+ Helping to organize & run Muzlimbuzz’s events

3) Video Editor

The intern will set-up, record and edit videos, engage readers through social media, and conduct story research. S/he will be involved in video interviews, trailer for events etc.

Specific duties include:

+ Pitching, researching, conceptualizing & creating video content
+ Fact-checking, conducting research
+ Participating in Muzlimbuzz’s Twitter, Facebook and other social media efforts
+ Helping to organize & run Muzlimbuzz’s events

We have full-time as well as freelance, flexible internship available. This is a paid internship.
