Poem: True Love
I feel lonesome even around peopling ubiquity
As if my heart hides behind doors, with no windows to see me
Feeling more than I’ve heard, what peopled described seemingly
About the painful nature of love, such a romantic tragedy
In a world with no hope of peace and tranquility
Where Allah will continue to test, calamity after calamity
Relentless in His efforts, so we may pass this test thoroughly
So even when I feel alone, I should know that He sees me
And that’s the only hope worth trusting completely
Through pure Love With Him, my love will come easily
Feelings seem so heavy, but ironically they are empty
Cause in a blink of an eye, He can change it all completely
Unequivocally
Absolutely
Purely
And Justly
Better than clockwork, he does it all repeatedly
Why not thank your Lord, who gives you so much mercy
Designed you to fail, but gives you a factor of safety
Is that not True Love? The fact that my creator loves me?
So when you want to cry, cry your heart out to Him completely
He’ll wipe away your tears, with your hand He created perfectly
Then open up a door, that your mind missed entirely
And then forgive you for sinning, because you came to Him initially
I may have lost my love, but My Love loves me eternally
And if I show Him true love, my true love will make their way to me
And then inshaAllah from Jannah one day, we’ll both look back to see
How our love came from Love, such perfect ecstasy
