Muslimah Fashion Guide to Pants
Women everywhere have always fallen susceptible to buying and wearing trousers or jeans that don’t flatter our body shape and size. While still trying to be fashionably modest, this crucial piece of clothing shouldn’t be overlooked.
We shed some light on the basics of pants and jeans.
Boot-cut
A pair of boot cut pants or jeans is a classic fashion piece. Slightly flared at the bottom, it makes the hips appear slimmer and minimizes the thighs, making it suited for fuller figures. To create the illusion of height, wear them with heels. For the bottom-heavy women, do stay away from pieces that have heavy detailing, as it tends to add bulk.

Straight-cut
The straight-cut is also a favourite classic as it gives you the illusion of long legs. They come in different fittings like slim fit or regular for a more roomier fit.
If you are inclined towards the slim leg versions, bear in mind that it might look like skinny pants or jeans. In that case, pair them with a longer tunic or top to conceal the body-line. It goes without saying, if it looks like your skin and jeans/pants are one in the same, might be best to get the next size up.
